Highland Park Minyan - Elijah's Promise Information
Elijah's Promise has been helping low-income people in the central New Jersey community since 1989. From nutritious meals, to social services and health screening, to culinary arts job training and entrepreneurial training, to their own catering business, Elijah's Promise has been moving people from hunger to wholeness. Please join us in the effort to alleviate hunger and empower lives.

The Highland Park Minyan volunteers for food preparation on the second Sunday of every month. Food preparation begins at 11:00am on Sunday and lasts until 12:15 or 12:30. Emmanual Lutheran, our partner congregation, serves the food at 3:00 and cleans the dishes after the meal. If you would like to stay for the whole time you are welcome to; and if you just want to serve the food and not prepare, Emmanuel is a very Minyanesque group of people and would love to meet you.

Elijah's Promise is on 18 Neilson St. between New and Commercial Streets in New Brunswick.

The easiest way to get there is to turn off Albany Street (Rte. 27) at the Hyatt Hotel in New Brunswick onto Neilson, drive across the first intersection and continue until just before (100 yards) Neilson dead ends. Number 18 is on your right and marked as Elijah's Promise.
